Imran is a Director of OPEN and is one of the founding members. He is the President of SoftServ International Corp.

Imran Khan started SoftServ Intl. in 1995 to provide software product development services to client companies in the US. He also found another sister company by the name of SoftServ Pvt. Ltd. in Lahore, Pakistan. Most of the upfront design is done in SoftServ Intl. located in Natick, Massachusetts and bulk of the detailed development occurs in SoftServ Pvt. Ltd.

Prior to starting SoftServ Intl. Imran Khan held senior management positions in companies developing Machine Vision systems, Data Acquisition products and Interactive Voice Response systems. He also Co found Recognition Technology Inc. a company that specializes in Machine Vision solutions. Over the 21 years of his career he has worked in various aspects of communication systems ranging from developing high speed modems, image processing systems, voice products, video conferencing systems etc.

Mr. Khan holds a Masters in EE from University of California Santa Barbara and a Bachelors in Avionics from College of Aeronautical Engineering in Karachi, Pakistan.
