Jamshed Khan is the founder president of The Trieste Group. Prior to founding Trieste Group, he was VP-head of Investments Technology and Quantitative Services at RiverSource Investments (an Ameriprise Financial company; formerly American Express Financial Advisors) in Boston.

Before joining American Express, he was Senior Vice-President of investment technology at Zurich Scudder/Deutsche Bank prior to which he played various senior roles in Fidelity Investments, Putnam Investments and Wellington Management. He also had a two year stint as a Senior Management Consultant when he provided solutions to the U.S Department of Treasury.

Throughout his 20 years long career in the financial industry, Jamshed has worked in various leadership roles in technology and quantitative areas of Investment Management business. He has led R&D and centers of excellence for implementing best practices in all aspects of financial engineering and developing processes and tools for portfolio management, hedge funds, research and trading Jamshed holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics from University of Massachusetts and Master of Science degree in Nuclear Physics from University of Karachi, Pakistan
