Treasurer - OPEN New England

Saad Munir graduated from Tufts University in 2007 with a double major in psychology and economics. Immediately after graduation, he began his career as a financial advisor with Ameriprise Financial and Banker's Life and Casualty. After four years in financial services and managing a book of business, Saad decided to switch gears into the mobile advertising industry to work in a more cutting-edge and business to business sales environment. Saad currently works as an Account Executive in the Performance Sales team for Jumptap, a mobile advertising start-up headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He continues to consult for several of his former clients as well.

Saad has been heavily involved in the Pakistani community since before his entering the workforce. He was the Treasurer of the Tufts Association of South Asians for two years prior to graduating. He was one of the organizers for Pukar 2009, an event aimed at increasing awareness and funding for Pakistani literacy by showcasing the rich artistic traditions of Pakistan. He has sponsored several community events run by the Islamic Center of Boston (ICB), Pakistani Association of Greater Boston (PAGB), and the Organization of Pakistan Entrepreneurs (OPEN).
